Ankita Mishra is a Senior Associate at Solomon & Co., with a growing focus on Projects, Infrastructure, and Energy spanning both contentious and non-contentious mandates. She is enrolled as an Advocate with the Bar Council of Maharashtra and Goa. She holds a B.B.A., LL.B. degree from National Law University Odisha and an LL.M. in International Dispute Resolution from Humboldt University, Berlin.
Ankita’s non-contentious practice is firmly embedded in the project lifecycle. She regularly advises infrastructure clients across all stages of project development, from procurement and bid-stage engagement through contract execution and operational commissioning. She reviews and negotiates tender documents, request for proposal conditions, and procurement-related contracts, including concession agreements, EPC contracts, O&M agreements, and supply contracts, with a particular focus on risk allocation, and compliance with applicable procurement regulations. Her involvement at the pre-award stage enables clients to identify and address structural and regulatory vulnerabilities before they crystallise into disputes.
On the contentious side, she advises on infrastructure and energy-related litigation and arbitration matters, with particular experience acting for and against public sector undertakings, insurers, and project contractors.
In addition to her infrastructure and projects practice, Ankita supports commercial clients with ongoing contract vetting, statutory compliance advisory, and labour and employment matters relevant to infrastructure and energy operations. At Solomon & Co., she is an integral member of the firm’s Projects, Infrastructure, and Energy practice, working closely with senior practitioners to deliver cohesive and commercially informed legal advice to developers, contractors, public authorities, and financiers engaged in critical infrastructure mandates.
Ankita also advises on commercial litigation and arbitration matters, particularly involving public sector undertakings, insurers, and project contractors. She brings litigation experience before the Securities Appellate Tribunal, Consumer Commissions, and various High Courts, and is well-versed in proceedings relating to project execution disputes, contractual claims, and regulatory challenges.
